Which drop mount

    ok so I need a 10" ball drop mount. After pulling the camper home the front legs were 4" off the ground the rear were 2" off with a 7 3/4" drop mount.


    I have been looking around and have decided on two separate mounts.

    My camper dry weight is 2k and gvwt is 3k and tongue weight is 400lbs

    So either one of these will work fine. The maxtow worries me because 1. I've never owned an adjustable. 2. It has two very small welds on it and I would be worried about breakage.

    Any help is appreciated. I need to order it asap to pull the camper to the next meet. I have attached a pic of the camper with the 7 3/4" drop mount.

    I would get the adjustable if you don't mind the noise it will make. it will be plenty strong and will allow for other trailer heights in the future.

    How do you figure what drop to get? I am guessing to just get a tape measure and find the differance between tongue height and hitch height or is there more wizard skill involved?

    That's it, the difference is the amount of drop you need. Also look into B&W products I jut bought a new ball mount from them, quality is awesome and very stout piece as well.
