I'll get you taken care of Ryan, sorry for the delay. You're not the first to have the skid show up with damaged packaging. I will start sending the hardware and straps in a box attached to the skid instead of the plastic bag.

i used the cam for that side, i made it tuck. Reason i didnt want the cam on the passenger side due the proximity of the driveshaft hanging just a few inches away. Might not be an issue but if you work that strap all the way through the attached points it will definitely clear.

It was easier to get the thinner strap to tuck up out of the way than the cam buckle. It will work just fine the way you have it though.

If you run the cam buckle all the way up against the pins you'll have plenty of clearance for the driveshaft.

All good Nathan, thanks again for the opportunity for the group buy. You solved a issue with us sport models. I am satisfied with the pricing of the product, its fitment out of the box, and the quick shipping you offered us. Wasn't cheap to ship those buggers but you delivered my friend. Will keep an eye out for trail toys if you offer any more products in the future.

Thanks for that Jonathan, I appreciate the kind words. I have more stuff on the way, just have to do some R&D before putting it out there.

I have your hardware packed and ready to go. Looks like USPS failed again and didn't pick up your box though. I'll drop it by the post office tomorrow morning.

On another note, my buddy Jesse stopped by the shop today with his FJC so we could start working on a skid. I didn't think we'd get this far, but we succeeded in making a full prototype. Check it out.

From what I can tell all of the FJ's come with a gas tank skid, so I can use the bolts on the straps to attach the skid. The front hanger is there just to keep the nose of the skid from falling. The bolts on the straps keep the skid from sliding. The stock skid has a cable attached to the front of it, and I'm reusing it to hold the nose up.

Headed to the shop to cut more skid plates. I'll have several on hand at Jambo if you're local. If not feel free to place an order on the website and I'll send one out to you.
