I've yet to get one in WA for the truck but I've gotten quite a few tickets in the WRX while living in CA. Then again that's California for ya, but I understand why it would gain attention from the cops with its unequal length header/turbo back growl. That car screams pull me over even when humbly driven so they take what they can get.

    stupid plate... :annoyed:

I drove my '09 Tacoma for almost 4 years without a front plate and never got hassled. I had my '14 less than 2 months and got a "fix it" ticket. Nice WRX by the way. I sure do miss my '04 STI.

Nice wrb STI! Before getting the aspen hawkeye I had a wrb buyeye.

I sure miss tossing that thing around the track. It's the main reason I went with speedway blue on the truck. The only issue I have with the truck is that under direct sunlight the blue washes out making it look faded/teal. Makes me wish I went with Super White or Magnetic Grey but with enough black accents I think it'll come together.

Any opinions on the trd decal style/placements from a few posts back? I've been going back and forth between the centercap and the inverse trd decal on the spoke (lower right).

Nice bugeye! Yeah, my STI was pretty modified, 367whp/374wtq, plus quite a few suspension goodies. I really miss that car at times, but I wish I would have kept it Cobb Stage 2 and just modded the suspension. lol I'll see if I can find more pics.

As far as the decals... man, that is a tough choice. I think both are good. I'll probably end up blacking out my caps other than the decal at some point.

Nice, bet she was fun. I stopped at Stage2 then spent too much time noodling with the suspension. Now shes stuck in the garage until I put her cats back on for emissions/WA registration. :frusty:

Decision made, now to find a deal on trd cenercaps.

She goes under the wrench as soon as I'm back from CA! I'm headed down to SF for the rest of the week to attend the annual Game Developer Conference (work stuff) and to visit family.

Can't wait to see this thing come together and get out on the trails with you guys.

Hope so, haha, I've got empty pockets and lots of work ahead. Did you happen to get an estimate for the relocate install yet? I may opt to roll with you for an install day if your contact up north is game. Originally I planned on doing the prep myself and roll the truck over to mule with no shocks (I live .5 miles away) but like yourself, I'd rather work with a more known welder who has done this before.
