Hooray... just got fucked by my company...

Have been working here the last 7+ months on a contract, with a massive paycut from my last job.. every month I have been in the hole right off the bat.

I get the official word last month (i knew they were going to keep me after my 6 month contract, so we knew the general time frame i would be getting my new pay) that they are keeping me, and giving me a raise to get me to what I was making prior.. ok awesome. They give me a list of stuff to complete before my start date of the 6th (today). Background check, drug screening, etc. Ok.. I get it all done and taken care of in the aloted time frame they gave me, with time to spare, so that I could start on the 6th, in time for my new bi-monthly check to come in.

Today I come in, to an email saying everything checked out and cleared.. awesome..

Later.. I find out the start date was pushed back to the 16th... wtf.. I did everything you asked me to. Now I wont get my first new paycheck until May. This wouldn't be an issue, as we have adapted to the lower pay the last 7 months.. but its just bad timing..

I have my best friends bachelor party this month, can't afford to go now, not to mention, I don't have the time off.. Lydia's birthday is this month. next month is my buddy's wedding (still have to pay for my suite) our wedding is coming up and needs to be paid off.. we are refinancing the house (which needs an appraisal)

    Can't catch a break.. sorry

    /rant.

Ill be home drinking a beer(ssss) if anyone needs me..

    ADS Update

So there was some error in the building of the shocks.

The length from the top hat to the center of the eye-mount measures in at 21.25" on mine.
According to ADS, it should be 19.837”. That's 1.4" of difference, which should be enough to make it fit. Also, according to ADS, the shock body itself with a coil on it nets 5.087” of travel.

Nope, I have to wait until they email me a shipping label to send these back. And then once they get them they'll send me the correct ones. Seems like a long ass wait for a product that should have been installed last Wednesday, but whatever.

Well that all around sucks. But atleast they are getting you back up to what you were being paid. They could have just told you to fuck off and be happy you even have a job.
