Mud flaps for oversized tires?

    I have a 2.5" lift with 265/70/17. I had to remove the stock flaps due to rubbing when I turn. Is there any mud flaps that I can use that won't rub? I've been searching and reading a lot of good things about the Husky ones but I don't know if they'll rub or not. I prefer the look without mud flaps but due to the offset of my tires/wheels I can't keep the truck clean for 5 mins especially in a new dirt road neighbourhood in the spring. I really don't care but the wife keeps getting her clothes dirty climbing in. haha

    ..mudflaps mainly prevent chips, splashing and such will still remain... especially with a lift on bigger tires

    Thanks guys. With the exchange rate and shipping that's over $200. I may check out some local auto places here and see if I can jimmy something up a little cheaper.

    aren't 1st gen Taco flaps thinner? I saw a thread about modding them to fit but not sure if thinner.

    My wife does the same thing with every rig I have. They all get scratched and scuffed and messed up on her side because she drags her shoes across the door jamb. I don't get it.

    I read somewhere that people are modding these Ikea cutting boards to make flaps instead of buying the really expensive rally stuff. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50153123/?query=dralla. The Dralla colors suck (no wonder the tuners like 'em) but there must be large flexible black silicone cutting boards out there somewhere.

    I've had the regular size RokBlokz on for a year now and my only complaint is that they don't cover the scars in my fender flares from the OEM mud flaps.

    You can see that even though they are shorter than stock, they still keep the rocks and debris way down. I haven't snagged them or bent them yet. I've torn/broken several OEM flaps though

    The oversized ones actually cover the scars in the front fender flares very well.
