Keep in mind, Mud can play havoc on the truck. It can screw up drive shaft seals, alternator, etc.... Just be ready for mechanical issues depending on the frequency of the mudding excursions. :)

especially when you are underneath working and dirt falls in your eyes. I still have mud in my frame.

Tire wise, the market of mud tires is full of options from size to brands. Its mostly personal preference.

How can a kid get a license and not know this is a parking brake? Next thing to try is texting while pulling the black handle...:D

*shrug* it's not really a common location for parking brakes anymore. The Taco was the first time in a long time I'd seen a parking brake there instead of on the floor or center console.

Well down here they dont teach us all of that. They are more concerned about safety and actually knowing how to drive. Btw the car I drove for my permit was a 2007 Camry and for my license I drove my mom's 2004 sports 4runner, and the parking brakes were not like this. I've only seen it on my taco, thats why I asked instead of just going on not knowing what it is.

Anyone concerned about safety should always familarize themselves with at least the basics of any vehicle prior to operating it. ;)

We got to use Mustangs
Actually, I hate them. These were the V6 model, which makes sense. My guy made me use turn signals when backing out of a parking spot.

All that aside it is a strange spot for a parking brake. It is a good one though. My taco won't move when it's on, but that may be due to the 2.4 and not the brake.
