I am not sure what this part is called, but it appears to be the thing that limits the door from opening to far.

It's rubbing on the window track when closing the door and I cannot figure out why. I opened up the passenger door panel and this part does not touch the window track (or make an irritating noise).

There is no apparent evidence of damage or misalignment. I tried loosing the mounting bolts to realign and had no luck. Any ideas? Anyone else have this happen? Thanks in advance!
