I need a new/used cluster and need to find out how to get it reprogrammed with my current miles?
The dealer has to have it sent out and my DD truck has to sit there the whole time.
This my only vehicle so that is a last resort if I can't find another way.
R there any snapon scan tools that can do it?

Not legally. Easiest thing to do would be to get your hands on a used/junk cluster, and use that one while yours is away

Last time I tried(on another vehicle) the computer knew that it wa not its original cluster. It will give you problem codes and dealers would know that the cluster has been changed out.

Takes me back to the days when you could disconnect the cable on the bottom and spin it backwards with a drill motor.

Which dealer is it, PALM? tell them to give you a rental for that time. Or drive it without a cluster for those few days using a GPS for speed :notsure:

Yes palm, I take u use to live here.
Haven't had a problem with them yet.
They said I can't drive it while the cluster is away as the miles won't be right.
They prob. Won't give me a rental for free but I will rent if there isn't another way.
There is a guy on eBay that will do it but for $ 92 and I'd have to send it out.
Can u run this truck w/o the cluster and have no prob.?
    I have a GPS so that's not a problem.
Has anyone heard if a comp. Does the resets?
