Yeah school has been kicking my ass. If I'm not up late doing school work I'm up late stressing about school. Then add life stress. What's sleep?

Jon, it's making a gnarly rattling noise at about 35-40mph under slight acceleration. Coming from the front from what sounds like just on the other side of the firewall. I've done research and I personally think its something to do with the exhaust. That certain speed combined with that particular frequency or vibration is causing something to rattle bad. Truck isn't throwing any sort of CEL or anything, still drives like a raped ape, but it is not a healthy sound whatever it is.

Did you take a hit to the exhaust or maybe a heat shield came loose? Also is your fuse box cover still on? Maybe it fell or something else fell down?

I also tried to figure a way to mount my GoPro under there to possibly get video of it but never made it happen. Either way, it's documented and at the dealer so they can get under there and look at everything and make sure.

Didn't take any hits that I am aware of. Hasn't been offroad in quite sometime. I've looked at everything I can think of and made sure everything was tight. I am hoping it is something simple like the heat shield on the exhaust has a bolt loose or something..

Yeah just read that. Mine does the same thing its the exhaust rattling on the heat sink right under your feet next to the brake peddle. Thats what mine is. I took it out of the hanger due to some damage I had to fix and now its to long to hang properly do it raddles at about 35mph and 4k rpm

And jon beat me to my post. Im betting its the same problem I have dude. A new exhaust route will solve it which the dealer probably wont do. And they are still going to charge you 200 bucks for looking at it

No they aren't charging me. I'm having the spark plugs and transfer case w/diffs flushed as well while it's there for $150 total.

I figured I would just rather them do it instead of me having to crawl in there and make a day out of it.

My assumption is I need to clean the undercarriage of the truck better because there is dirt and sand and rock all up under there so that probably isn't helping my cause.

Damn 150 isnt bad at all! Might go see what my dealer will charge me. Thats worth my time right there. And yeah clean it out and check your exhaust and heat sink right there on your driver side. The heat sink you can bend back up if it got folded or something.
