I hate how you have to go to court like 3 times just to do anything. Drives me up the wall.

Ha ha, yeah, the uphill part definitely isn't the most fun. But the more you ride, the better your conditioning will get, and 10 miles will just be a warm up! Keep at it! Glad you are enjoying yourself

Definitely not me. Two summers ago was my last trip up there to ride. Trails were in such poor shape, that I told myself I'd never go back. Personally, I'd rather drive out and ride Snow Summit in Big Bear. But will be heading to Angel Fire in May and June, then Mammoth for nationals, then Northstar and finish off the summer with a 10 trip to Whistler. And I'm sure a fair number of weekends riding up in Flagstaff.

Yeah, I was up there a few weeks ago after riding in Sedona. They really did a great job on the first phase of it and it is a lot of fun!! We've got that Desert Trails park in Mesa which is pretty awesome too.. And soon there will be another one out near Goodyear. Looks like they are getting very close to completion.

Yep, we(GROAZ) built that pump track and perform pretty much all of the maintenance of it. Pretty fun little thing to screw around on. The Flag park is just in its infancy now. The master plan will include several gravity oriented trails, skills section and flow trails. What you saw is just the beginning of what will be a pretty fun place for kids and adults.

You should check out Desert Trails park. Two pump tracks, skills park and 3 trails(Green/Blue and Black) But the black is definitely big boy stuff!

Sometimes we do partial shuttles depending on what we are riding. For the most part we'll drive to the top of Schnebly Hill rd, ride down Munds Wagon, cut over to Cow Pies then jump on Hangover and take that all the way around and back to the lot at the bottom of Schnebly Hill.. Otherwise most of the riding we do up there is on the bike the whole time.

best way to quiet down a loud generator?
put plywood up against it to project the sound the other direction? get a big box and cut a hole in the top and put over the generator? would that cause the generator to overheat?

All it takes is more time on the bike. My buddy Simon runs various 20$ clinics up in Sedona on the weekends. Guy absolutely shreds and is a really, really good coach! Lots of good "How to" videos on YouTube as well. Proper technique is key, so learning that will make things a lot easier in the long run..

I love riding my downhill bike, but at the same time, I absolutely love time on my trail bike as well. Shuttling with a big group in the summer is definitely a blast, but for every one of those days, I try to get in at least 2 more pedal days..

Lift access bike parks on the other hand, those are just stupid fun! I'd say Big Bear is our closest "good park" as I generally think sunrise is a wast of time. But more and more ski resorts are jumping on board with bike parks so it'll be interesting to see what happens down the road. At the moment, Whistler still reigns supreme in that department! Probably the most amazing place I've ridden my bike.

I used to be an avid night time dirtbike rider.
They sell badass little LED lights that clip onto bars, or helmets that are hooked up to a lithium ion battery.

Way way bright, even for riding 60mph through the desert at night. I'm sure it will be over kill, and around $400, but you cant get any better!

My dad is a manager of a motorcycle shop so if you are interested, let me know and i can ask him for you.

I run a NiteRider Pro 2200 Enduro. Awesome light, but if I were to do it again, I'd likely go with one of the Chinese off brands.

Anyone doing a home mortgage or refinance, stay away from Alliance Financial Resources / Home Mortgage. They will promise the world like any sales tactic and not follow through or have some excuse that they can't deliver etc etc. A classic bait and switch company. Nothing out of the ordinary. I would never recommend them to anyone or any veteran. Tony Adkins swears he is a fellow veteran and will only help out veterans and bullshit like usual, but only cares about getting you as a customer and whatnot. Be wary.

    Learning what I want/what is good/what is better/money/anything else.

Basically, I want a 3 inch lift now and 35s. But I don't want a super rough ride.

I was thinking billies up front with minimal preload and longer coils, dakars/all pro standards and icons in the rear. But I don't what what stock coil length is(I'm sure I could find out and look) and Sam made the point, why not just spend the extra money on something better than billies. Cool, did some research found out OME are better, but they're not adjustable. Gay. Looked into some fox(as kings website is confusing) and have to look into it more. It's just a ton of research. The more I research, the more money I spend. Haha. It's bad.

Don't need adjustments for OME. They use coils for lift.

Check out DSM's website for King
