$10 well spent IMO, cuts install time in half. With the extra harness all you need to do is plug everything in & connect the interface to a pos & ground (I tapped into the head units wires). The interface is self programming, it will detect that it is hooked to your taco & what ever brand head unit. DONE.

Yup. Pioneer is paying for my install too. So hopefully they add all of that, otherwise I'll be pulling it out and adding a few adapters myself for steering wheel controls, and to ground the video wire to the frame... ;) that way you can play video while driving. By default it won't work unless the E-brake is on. All you need is to ground that wire (usually to the frame) and Google a quick command and you'll be able to do everything while driving. Gotta do it man!

Old version is just 886, 885, 883, etc. the "X" denotes it's the updated models.

Yes they will, they're made for each other.
All 885s, 886s, etc are the x version now but they dropped the x from the name. 885x = 885

I think he was responding to my question of if they'd work for my desired height

Sweet. That might be what I upgrade too then.. Sounds like it'll keep my height and give a better ride.

Quick and easy mods that were covered here in TW. First I shortened the front mud flaps about six inches and then removed the head rests on the back seats. Took about two hours for both. Now to locate a set of per 2011 fold down back seats and get it back to a flat floor. Maybe I will check out Crutch Field for some steering wheel controls.

Probably not. Are the king coils flat on the top and/or bottom? If so, no. Also the kings maybe made for a thicker bodied coilover?

Just curious and confused, why are bilstein's such a priority?? I get it if your using stock springs but with OME or King why not go with the matched set? They were made for each other! Front to rear sure OME or King or Icon or whatever then aal and billy's or Dakars and fox but mix n match the front coil n shock??

I have a lift already, but budget is my trial... student, married, daughter, dog, and house... doesn't leave much room for truck. Bilstein's are budget friendly and a decent shock, better than what I'm running.

And what he said. I already have 5100s and they suit my needs fine. On OEM coils now, but will have 885xs in it this summer and then will be done with it.
