Jerry's a badass... what can we say.

This was the only obstacle I had driving to the east bay today, a late 90s/early2000s mustang flipped on the vallejo 37 to 80S as I was going to a Land Rover training. Some people should not drive. Period. iphone couldn't focus as I grabbed it quick as I saw what was blocking the road

I'm glad I get in to work early.

This morning, two big-rig wrecks on 680/580 and a butt load (60+) of other calls into the CHP...even the locals were busy today.

Anyone know if it's possible to get a battery replaced at a discount/free if I bought it at sears 16 months ago and I don't have the receipt anymore? Pretty sure it's the source of my problems with my truck right now. It's a die hart plat that I really don't want to shell out money to replace right now.

They usually keep a record in their system, I don't believe you need a receipt, especially with a CC.

Possibly a weird picture upload so sorry if this doesn't work using my phone. But anyhow saw this guy sitting in a parking lot in Antioch off Lone Tree today. Anyone know or want to claim? Looked like a pretty good current build.

We did get just over 4" in Pollock, so amounts should be good up. MET. Keep in mind that we're still under a snow watch until noon today, so if you do go up be prepared.

Argh. Two hours should be plenty to drop my diff and bring to the shop, but I don't want to be rushed. My mom was gonna babysit for me today but now needs to leave at 10. I guess I'll pull the diff Sunday... Just want to get this locker installed!

And I'm sure you guys remember that snow run back in December? I decided to work instead thinking I'd go on the next one. Looks like that'll prob be next year for me. If anyone goes up today, take some pics!

I've tried searching but couldn't find a definite answer so I'm coming to you guys. What exactly would I need to install my CB? I have the cb (cobra 19) and a tailgate mount (like Jerry's but for a 4Runner.

I know I need a coax cable but what kind of end? Fire ring or standard? I'll get a heavy duty spring and 90 degree adapter. Anything else? I'm clueless when it comes to cb's.

Are you going to mod day? I'm probably more clueless about CBs, I'd love to help/gain some knowledge for my own install...

Sorry Robert, I'm pretty much in the clueless club myself. ForeRunner installed mine for me. At the tailgate I don't think you'd need the fire ring, standard should be fine. We had to extend the positive/negative wires to reach the battery. A few connectors, soldering gun, heat shrinks, and extra wire were all we needed (I think). Grounded the antenna on the mount.

Hey Robert if you have that kind of antenna mount, then you need to grind your antenna separately also. Not enough metal on that kind of mount to double up as a ground.

If you want it removable, grab a quick-disconnect also.

You're also adding an electronic accessory, so you'll need wire and terminals (and an add-a-circuit) to hook it up to your battery.

This is what i had to buy for my CB install:

CB radio, wiring + switch for radio, 3' antenna, hood mount, quick disconnect, spring, 10' coax cable (regular), antenna to coax adapter, and 2x 90 degree coax connectors (one behind radio and one for the antenna)

Extra wire helps. Connectors. Shrink tube etc. I'll have done of mine too since I'm prolly gonna fiddle with some lights. I'm bringing my Tuner too. I like the standard coax mounts. I've found them to be more sturdy and better ground.
