That sucks, sand and mud will be most of my terrain. Where did you find rocks?

What made you choose the Tacoma?
Midsize with more power = 2016 Tacoma. I expect it will feel about 75% or more of the way from stock 2nd gen to supercharged 2nd gen. When's the next time around?

You know FJs. And you've seen my truck. Do you think it looks better with the matte black FJs or that it would look better with anthracite? (Anthracite, hopefully, would key well with the TRD Sport smoked headlights I'm about to put on. I can also paint other things/accents to match)

    I feel limited with them.

Even on black paint? I like them too. On any other color they would be my first pick.

Black cars do not get hotter than white cars. They approach the same temperature faster. The paint will be hotter to the touch but the cab is insulated.

    Also, heatshields FTW

I mentioned sunshields. Do you not like them? Also what is this ceramic tint that you speak of, before I go and get tinted?

Use a dash protectant (NOT Armorall) or even a dash mat to protect from the rays.

The black would absolutely look cooler

But its what everyone does with toyota's dark blues

I was thinking of accenting with grey. Might come out looking very oldman-ish but could also be badass #amSCURRRD

I don't like sun sheilds. Don't want to have to remove it every time. Don't want my overhead visors to get loose and flappy from folding them down so they'll hold the sun shade

I can't tell who's truck you are talking about.
I have a theme idea in mind. Just an idea.

BSP, anthracite wheels, OEM smoked headlights, old school t100 anthracite tailgate decal (Thin strip that says Toyota) possibly a gray flag decal like you've seen on some, etc. I can paint the sliders anthracite too.

Also raptor grille, either black or anthracite.
And finally, bushwacker fender flares once I upgrade to bigger tires. Either BSP or Anthra as well. I can see it looking badass or shitty with different colored fenders.

Either theme will have a slight red accent, being the TRD on the wheels (Mine is faded unfortunately) and a painted red Maxtrac logo on the spindles. Possibly a red badge somewhere.

What do you think about those both as a group and individually?
I don't think your visors will suffer and yes it's a pain to deal with front and side shields but it really is only a minute of time. Plus with an access cab they are literally right behind you with no worries of someone needing to sit in the seat they're on like a DC. Tint + heatshields = cool interior.

I love your color combo ideas. Gopher et.

Yes, our visors will become saggy and flop around. I NEVER use them. I wear sunglasses 90% of the time I am outside anyway

    Because <3
Was not expecting that. Which ones? I listed options on some.
IDK I have used mine daily with no downside. Plus, easy replace. I always mean to wear sunglasses but I forget to own a pair. Only just recently bought some.

I have wrinkles around my eyes partly from that and partly from having such light colored eyes. I squint at most levels of outside light including cloud cover.
I have a silver spare which BTW I shouldn't have bought...

Not the first time its happened.

I'm thinking i'm leaning towards blue with black accents. Might paint my skids a lighter shade of blue to match my blue window stickers and blaze blue plasti dip

Pics of current themes? I typically don't like secondary colors that aren't neutral but I'll give it a chance.
