What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I agree on the visibility. I used to want those fold downs so I could fold them down for visibility and passengers could just use them when they get in. I guess not.

 

Digging the igloo holder bracket, but what keeps it down and from popping up if you hit a bump or off-road? bungee's??

Toyota often has a hard time making sense....we all have come to learn that

 

They stick out so far when folded down, you're slamming into them getting stuff in and out of the back seat

They take up a lot of real estate

The cooler fits rather tightly into the holder. Even when empty, you have to pull up on it and give it a good tug to free it from the holder. I'll likely put a strap or bungee on it just to be safe.

 

Debadged the doors and gave her a wash and bikini wax

 

Damn those are beefy bumpers.

I'm also into the idea of a low bed rack over a tonneau like you, but I see you have a folding cover... how do you open it with the rack on top?

Also, what bed rack is that and how does it attach to the bed rails?

I took my 3 week old 2015 DCSB 4x4 TRD OR out and got her dirty in Big Bear So.Cal.
I was impressed with the ride and stock articulation.. ATRAC, locker and DAC worked like a champ. I love this truck !
