    yea I built all my skids.... and was hoping there was a kit/part that I could weld on to make it easier, but to pay someone to design a skid plate/armor custom for me.....no thanks, what ever happened to the "built not bought" motto? I get it if you don't have the means, and yea theres sum sweet options out there, but if you can make it...DO IT. im just trying to avoid grinding and down time. and DIY kits are sweet cause you can tweak em a little how u want

    I guess I am confused. You want to build your own but you want to buy a kit that is somewhat built so you can tweak it? That would still be bought btw. All of them in a kit, weld or bolt on are designed by someone and cbi's is a weld on btw. I am sure they can send it to you in pieces if you like.
    Tweak it, hit it with a hammer, weld a d ring on it, cut it in half, slap a hooker in the face with it...twice, do what you want with it and then weld it on.
    Not sure why you want to "tweak" a well designed part if it is functional, no matter who designed it. No reason to reinvent the wheel.
    Otherwise, build it yourself from flat steel.
    Bought and Tweaked, not bought...but um bought and um kinda tweaked doesn't have much of a ring to it.

    At 45 and a dozen builds and hours on my back, I have no issues with letting the seasoned pros cut, bend, and weld the big stuff. Mostly, because I can.

    I couldn't find the cbi one your talkin about. and im all for the diy kits if its what your lookin for, but a grand+ for a finished bumper is a lot, and absolutely ridicoulus for 100 bucks in material. if I can save time on building a part and the cost difference isn't huge, sure ill buy it.

    The diff armor would not be on their site as well as u-bolt flip and some other items, not sure why but we've talked about him getting it on there(I think he is in the process).
    I would just call Nathan. Great guy to talk to and a really neat setup for building their own parts on site, unlike others. They build a ton of Moab ready trucks, Jeeps and parts and I am sure he could accommodate you.

    Actually it does fit the e-locked 8"

    We test fit it on Linwood's truck and it fit. He just order it and we should be welding it on his soon.
