They told me it was "fine. The spray will seal it all up for you"

Seemed like it was good to me.

The top of my windshield bubbled and didn't look too bad but when I went to get a replacement windshield, they wouldn't warranty their work or the glass because the rust had travelled down under the rubber trim and behind the glass sealant. It was a mess lol

My rear bumper was toast, yours isn't bad yet :D

The rear bumpers are a weak point for rust on any truck. If living in the salt belt you should be spraying some kind of rust preventative like fluid film up inside of the rear bumper from underneath the truck at least once a year.

Looks like it'll be a lesson learned. Next time....more spraying required.

If it makes you feel better it only cost me $160 to get a new rear bumper "cover/skin" and I got in Line-X'd for another $150. Might be a good option if you want to replace that bumper. Bought it online at TRDparts4u

will this option fix 2 very small dents on my bumper, or do i need to replace the whole assembly? I have a chrome bumper. P.s, the snow in berkshire county is just about gone. Most of the remaining snow is just where it has been piled up by plows.

You're the first person I've seen posting who has treated their frame with fluid film since day one on a 7 year old truck. I've been doing the same thing to my 13', and looks like your in PA too. So what does your frame and undercarriage actually look like today?

How well has it worked, besides passing the frame inspection. Does your frame look great underneath in all areas, or just good enough to barely pass the inspection?

This is just the metal skin, so all the mounting hardware and plastic covers would need to be re-used. The chrome one is more $
