Indeed....I admit I was all over the place even looking at Tundras. I saw the White Tacoma and it just "fit" I should have gone for the 15 in the first place but the only white one I saw on the lot was a Limited. That is NOT worth the money they want for it.

Lesson learned indeed. Win some Lose some.

Yeah I know $400 But I like the Toyota boards. I am not handy enough to install $200 runners.

    Will do...hee hee

Awesome op. Glad you're in the right truck. As for running boards, you are handy enough to install them. You just have to hold them up to the frame and bolt them on. Hell I installed sliders on my truck that required drilling holes in the frame and I managed fine with little mechanical experience.

But back to the point, I'm glad you didn't let money rule you or what you drive every day, and I would have likely done the same thing granted I was financially able.

    I would've dumped $4500 on more mods but it's your money. :D

Let's just see how peaceful your mind stays when the 2016s roll along with the new interior features.

They probably didn't lose the fob or the manuals, they likely just didn't turn them in when they traded. I have a drawer full of keys that I forgot to bring to the dealer on trade day.

Why not trade a truck in with damage? If I'm trading in a used truck, I'm not fixing a damn thing.

The top of the tailgate could have been replaced with a steel powder coated cap for under a hundred beans....

Get what you want it's your life/your money & as said before life is too short.
I traded in a truck after one year because my dog had anxiety when riding in it and never looked back.
    Congrats on your new ride!

I'm 29 and have had 33 cars, most of which were new. No need to explain logic to me--clearly it won't catch. :p

Hey, I'm actually selling my running boards if you're interested and haven't actually pushed the button on the new ones. Mine are from a 2014 Access cab, but the distance between the wheels for the AC and DCSB is the same. I'm in Raleigh, so not far away either.

Yeah I thought about that. But first year completely redesigned models never appealed to me. If for some reason I like the 16 enough to want one, I'll get it. But I don't see that happening from what I have seen so far.

    29 hours.....:(:D

No sense in looking back. It's only money.
$4500 is not a catastrophic number...Like I said I spent far more than that on a couple Breitlings.

    Better reason than mine.... :D

    All of a sudden I feel a LOT better...wow 33 cars.

It's done. I really should have waited on the boards.I just wanted everything done. THanks though.
