    The gates never close. The rangers just aren't at the gate at night. you can come in any time of the day. You'll just have to go back to the gate the next day to pay for your camping for that night. I think it's $10 per day.

    We tried to pay last time but the guy had closed the cash register when I got there and he said pay on your way out. When I left no one was there. So it was free.

    I have slickrock the following weekend. Its basically a shorter rubicon. Ill be wheeling but I will probably take it easy on this trip and be a spoter and help with some recoverys.
