and people cant believe i lost 60 pounds in 7 months.. you would think i was crazy if you saw my son and i play together.. but at the end of the day when and if the shit hits the fan, he will have that blind trust.. i dont think there is a lot of fathers that can say that about their 5 year olds..

if i told people my real secret they would prob laugh, but really at the end of the day weight loss is a mental thing(minus the people that truly have a medical reason).. people choose to be fat... choose to eat the way they do... not trying to hate, but its the truth.. i know i was one of them... before i started drinking and eating 8000 calories a day, i was literally doing back flips from a standing position. I trained in the martial Arts under dave kovar for close to 15 years. everyday for 3 hours. i was his second class of junior black belts... he was like my second father.. End of the day... i had to remember where i came from..

funny thing is that i have never once been in a Fight... close a couple times in high school.. Those RIO guys disliked me for some reason.. i went to Jesuit.. but ends up they get talked down when someone figures out what i can do.. just being honest... as soon as my son is ready, i am taking to train under Gordon and Elaine at the Kovars on madison.. too people who i also trained with.

when i do the "daily work outs" i make a game of it with him.. like i said he literally copies me.. i call him my human weight.. he will lay on my when i do push ups or get on my shoulders when i do squats or lunges . i turn 101.1 on and we dance around.. I do my forms.. as dance moves and he mimics me... LOL..

i have almost had a couple people in the pool after him.. pretty funny stuff.. when he was smaller.. say 20-30 pounds i could throw him like 10 feet above the water. he will stand on my hands in the pool like the picture and jump into the deep end... doesn't hesitate to jump off of the diving pool at our club. You should seen the life guards FACES when he first did it. goes down the slide by himself.. as long as he sees me do it once he wont hesitate..

I want to get my son and myself into something like this. We both need The exercise. I just don't like the few places I have checked into. Let me know what days your looking into going, if it works with me I will try it.

Off a rope swing its easy. But I was always doing flips and gainers off something. I grow up swimming the american river. I may be almost 40 but I'm not throwing in the towel yet.
As soon as my arm heals it back to the gym. I have been walking 3- 6 miles a day 5 days week, for now.

thanks BTW.. my father wasn't around.. not that is was a bad thing.. He was basically a Lt Col. in the air force and flew the K-135... he was in SAC(strategic air command)... so he is pretty bad ass.... and i understood.. started karate in 86 with my mom and older brother.. its in my blood.. Dave just happen to be a great father figure... trust me i didn't get in a lot of trouble.. all my mom had to say.. "want me to call Mr. Kovar?!?" :quickdraw: no thankyou

so at the end of the day.. i think you get it...
