Couldn't find any Creme Brulee but I'll keep looking.
They did have that hot sauce rooster stuff that some of you guys like, I may wait a bit to try that one but they also had a really delicious looking chocolate stout. And of course a nice Stone IPA, with our state holiday as the drink by date.

I love me some Flying Dog. Lucky SOB is one of my favorites from them.

ROGUE-Double Chocolate Stout is definetly a double compared to there regular one.Doubly satisfying!:)Not sure but i think the alcohol content is a little higher as well it's a dollar or two more. The bottle is definetly different from the regular.

I always have Kronik (the old name before it was censored). One of my favorites growing up. The brewery is 7 miles away and my buddies wife works there. They get a free case of 22s every week. The Kronik and the Lil Sumpin are anytime go-to beers. I love living between there, russian river brewery, bear republic, fogbelt, 3rd st aleworks. Its a privilege.

Well......had the Sriracha Rogue last and well....:(

First off it's great beer. It's Rogue so it's real good.
The thing I had a problem with is if someone poured it in a glass and said "here try this" I probably would of said "wow that's a good ole stout beer".

Zero heat, zero Sriracha taste so I was bummed. :pout:

    1. Was I expecting to taste a mouthful of Sriracha sauce - NO.

    So:

    2. Have I had so much Sriracha (I eat it close to daily) that I couldn't taste or smell it?
    3. Have I had so much Sriracha that the gimmick of the beer is just a gimmick because I know Sriracha so well I would be able to taste and smell it?

    :notsure:

I was so excited to drink it that I forgot to roll the bottle back and forth a few times just in case this beers Sriracha ingredients settle to the bottom.
I will say that the last two drinks of the beer I think I could taste a hint of Sriracha (a teeny hint) and I could taste a little bit from the beer "film" left on my tongue.

Was it good? Yes it's Rogue for fucks sake.
Would I buy it? NO. For $14.00 a bottle and zero Sriracha fun, I would rather buy my normal sixer of Ninkasi and be in heaven.

Oh well. I love trying new beer and this was on the top of my to try list so on to something else.

Ever had Chili Devil from Azteca? It's got a little heat to it.. it's a lager not a stout, but it has a serrano pepper floating in it. kinda strange. lol

Anyone had the Rogue Voodoo Donut? I almost bought a bottle the other week but decided against it.

I asked my girl to try it so I can make sure I'm not downing this beer and she looks at me and says HELL NO!!! Sriracha is disgusting. I said Sriracha is my ketchup!!!!!

Yeah after taste (while sucking my tongue to roof of my mouth...if that makes sense:eek:) I could taste it a bit.

I think I had my hopes pretty high too because they are onto a good thing here. It just needs MOAR!!!

    I'll look for that too.

What's cool is the BierStein here has a cooler that is half football field long full of beers from EVERYWHERE!! I walk in and they say "hey Ross what ya lookin for" I say CHILI beers....hot beers....something like that.

I seem to be hit and miss on when those release. They even tell me it's a surprise for them when those come in.

I'm waiting impatiently for the phone call when Stones:Crime and Punishment comes back (if it will).

I had the Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout the other night. It was really good. Too bad I don't have any more, and probably won't find any.

I also picked up a six pack of 21st Amendment Down to Earth session IPA. The first can was pretty good. The second can was not so good. I had them on different nights, so I'm not sure what the difference was.
