You look in the bedroom? Near the perineum? Sorry had to do it. Insert Viagra commercial.

I really have no idea.............. What to lube on the Tacoma. I know anatomy, I have raised kids already.

it must be lithium soap base to be compatible...
    and moly is ok.

moly or non-moly works... and over the years
toyota has recommended moly on slide yokes (this is a must
but tacoma slide yokes have boots, no zerks...4runner has zerks on slide)

    and depending on
what you read and what year it is and saturns orbit....moly or
non-moly in u-joints/dbl cardan joints (4runner has dbl cardan).

--as long as you use lithium soap base and grease them
often it won't matter, just keep greasing them--

    max interval 30,000 miles.

The problem with KY is that it's water based, which makes it much less effective for applications involving the shower/bath/pool/beach. This is why I prefer the silicone based. It is universally effective when poundin' down to o-town.

Wait...we were done talking about trucks, right?

Don't use grease of any kind. Female saliva is obviously the superior lubricant for any normal joint.

Interesting title. The talk about lube...Major fail on the subject. The thread talking about lubing the tow ball was a way better read. Try better next time.

So I'm outta grease and my shaft is dry. I'm looking for another brand of greaase. When I was near the end of the mobile 1 tube the grease was more of an oil that was freely draining from the tube. If this happens in the tube what is stopping it from happening in the shaft???

Man you had to revive a thread with Rock Lobster in it... My favorite sea creature is gone. Besides that, how long has the grease tube been sitting?

Mobil 1 is weepy. it still works though, the soap holds up fine and keeps enough oil locked up
(in fact it may make it work better in roller bearings being a bit weepy)
[blame Mobil 1 on making a for-sale package that doesn't hold the drips in,
vs blaming it for weeping. ]

Valvoline black with 2% moly or red with no moly is fine, it is what i use
but even it drips a bit if you leave the gun alone for a few months
