So Saturday when I did some fishing, I had set the hook on what seemed to be at least a 5 lber but she jumped and spit the hook. Well Monday I went back and casted to the same spot where she had hit. Boom hit on the first cast but she jumped and spit it again  . So yesterday I went back and casted to the same spot and about the 4th or 5th cast. She slammed my top water frog but this time I brought her in :D

Oh and here is a little something we have been working on in the new house. Decided to finish the bottom floor ourselves rather than have the builder do it. Decided it was time to finally have a proper gear room.

Ford F150 versus a hyundai elantra. I'd say the elantra lost.

Shocked the crap out of me. I was in the Ford backing up. One of our lot porters apparently was flying through the lot and I backed into him. The truck was 3/4 of the way out of the parking spot. Not a scratch on the ford.

Does front brake pad replacement at 47k miles sound about right?

It really depends on your driving style and other driving conditions. I'm at over 50k and still have plenty of pad left but there are people out there who can burn through some pads pretty quick.

I haven't had them checked yet but they have been really noisy lately. Not to mention the drums like to talk a lot too.

I bought my truck CPO with 39k miles and I'm at nearly 48k miles. I assumed that it being a CPO vehicle that they would have checked the brakes. I don't see how I could have burned them down already had they been replaced before I bought the truck. Just annoying... Toyota wants $190 to replace the pads. Any recommendations? I don't have the proper tools to do it myself now that I'm in Gainesville. I was lucky to use my dads tools when I lived at home.

So if I'm going to do the brakes myself, what are the best to buy? I ran Wagners on the 4Runner but I wasn't too impressed with them.
