I have been putting together a book of installation pics and instructions I will try to get some uploaded tonight. The weatherstripping can be kept yes, you either punch holes through it, or cut it into sections.

look on the first page of this thread for weatherstripping options. some cut strips to fit, others use a center punch for the spacers, others take them completely off.

here's a photo of the weatherstripping cut to fit, after rack installation and before returning weatherstripping to the roof:

here are factory mounting points for the cabrac on a dc:

zach's website has installation instructions with diagrams.

looks like it's currently under construction.

i was going to take photos of the cabrac install, but it was a solo job and was getting rtv all over the damn place. ain't nobody got time for that!

Hey Zach, I have some hardware questions for you! I'm looking to have some hardware ready for my rack when it arrives from the GB and from what I've read I think I've got my list squared away:

1 - For the rack to my Thule rails it looks like I can use either the 10 or 15 series, preferably economy nuts, correct? How many holes are in each "foot"? I'm not sure if I need 6 or 12 t-nuts and bolts here for my longbed.

2 - The ends of the HD bars are threaded 1/4"-20 right? Total is 4/bar x my total number of bars. Figuring 1" should work plus washers.

3 - For mounting junk to the top it looks like the HD bars use the 10 series with the smaller 1/4"-20 tap, right? I think I remember reading that the 20 series 5/16"-18 don't fit; right? I'll match bolt length based on the junk being mounted.

    Thanks!

I am very interested in the cabrac. What is the current ballpark turn around time for a new order? Can the lightbar be added in at a future date? Lastly, is the stock rubber roof strips needed for this install?

This is my plan, I placed an order and just purchased the wind deflector with the cutout for the light bar to be put on at a later date. I am curious if there will be some wind noise though, although it is not really much of a concern.
