I am leaning more towards the 295/75/16. I want 315/75/16 but don't plan on a lift for a little while so sticking to a 33" tire for now.

cheapest option is tire rack or have an American Tire/Discount Tire price match with tire rack.

From my research, tire size depends on lift. I will be going with a OME 850 springs front, 863 rear. Slee 30mm spacer front. 4 Fox IFP shocks. Depending on clearance with 315/75/16, possible 1" body lift as well. Guys with 80's tend to run into vibration/drive issues over 4".

Any plans on a lift? If so how tall? Seems the same holds true for your 100 and my 80: stock height and wheeling=33, stock height and no wheeling=35. A 35 will fit on both but will rub if wheeled, stock. A 35 and wheeler, needs lift.

i planning on keeping it stock until the ACH gives out. and just rip it out. couple of threads over on expo and mud, state 35's are possible with ACH because you can manipulate it to think its riding on stock tires.. has to do with the geometry of the suspension.. i don't know... i might just say F it and do a SAS swap... and be done with it... lol.....

reason the 105's are popular around the around is because they are basically a J100 with the 80 front axle.. i think....

DO IT! SAS, LOL. I would stay with a 33 until lifted but that's me.

Thats for 5 where you get them? You do the price match below? They don't have it listed on tire rack. On ebay discount tire its $1160 shipped for 5 with no certs and on their web site it's $1263 mounted and tax etc. 285s are cheaper on ebay but the same on their website. I'm going to see if they will match the price in store tomorrow.

Ummmm, your truck is nice, but that 4Runner is tits

I need to figure out some logistics and a basic build price... see if it will be worth messing with it, but I always wanted to lift a 22re motorhome, as if it wasn't a gutless wonder enough. Although I have seen people do the 4.0V8 swap from Lexus LS400 or T100, which would run forever and have plenty of juice.

Sorry I shoulda clarified. I bought (4) 285/75/16s for $900 after tax. Then I paid extra for mount and balance.

 Welcome from Union City. Clunks can come from different things, and it's hard to tell without knowing what the clunk sounds like, or where it's coming from. But if it happens when you shift, then maybe it's your tranny?

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner

Sometimes you can feel/hear 'clunk' when tranny mounts are worn. Loose U joints can also make a noise when shifting into Drive. It's hard to tell unless looking at everything in person.
