A whole lot of this bickering would go away if they just dropped or modified the fuel flow rate regulation. I really think it is what is hampering Renault.
If they did, the rpm and power would increase and sound better too.
Mercedes would still have an advantage because being more efficient they could carry less fuel.

I usually get there by 8:30 , the line up is huge , usually about an hour wait before you can get on a shuttle to pit lane

After you get off the metro at Jean Drapeau station it will still take you 20-30 minutes to walk to the grandstand you are in

 

Do the teams sell gear at the race? I need some McLaren stuff.

Tons of official merchandise vendor stands at the track and in town

 

Prepare for longs days and lots of walking...You are allowed to bring a cooler with food and drinks for the day alcohol is tolerated.The stands were you are have all the service close (food and stuff) and there is a large shaded area to chill when its hot between sessions.

Saturday is the best day with a lot of different series and the party gets going in the afternoon in the center of the track...

Downtown gets busy and lots of action on Crescent street.keep your energies for Sunday.

Remember its not a sprint its a marathon

Credit Cards always work but sometimes it's easier to have cash , plus there are places that I wouldn't use a CC .

You will also get a better exchange rate at a bank versus using US money at a store
