Thanks...it's almost too nice for me .. I don't deserve it. I hardly know what a solid axle is. I've wheeled it a few times and it was great but i just keep finding things that need to be fixed. When they remand the motor they painted the valve covers on the inside too :notsure: so oil was coming out where the gasket is and landing on the exhaust causing it to smoke inside the cab lol. because that paint began to crack..but that's getting fixed at toyota right now...but it's just always something it seems, so I'm debating if it's even worth it to put that much more money into it being as old as it is with 215xxx miles

Idk what your talking about. It is always something with every truck/rig. The more custom. The more stuff.

Still. That's a pretty minor issue with that rig. That thing is built to handle a lot. Don't let 215k scare or fool you. That thing will run for another 200k easy.

That's weird.. It looks like one says moog and the other one doesn't, it almost looks like they gave you one moog and then just packed some random OTR in a moog box for the other one.

That's what I was thinking. The one that says Moog is greasable and the other one isn't.

The one in the foreground looks correct. Other side should be a mirror image.

Like jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. Literally nothing was wrong with the engine. :anonymous:

From what I understand, many of the transmissions share similar designs/parts, the chief difference being gear ratios. Something I'm missing? Are certain gear ratios weaker, like R&Ps? Couldn't I just cryo treat the shit out of the internal parts?

Nice, how do you manage to get them to adhere properly to texture?
