Yesterday was a very busy day. Spent 6-7 hours getting my brother's 2015 ready to hit some trails next month. New recovery hook from BPFabricating, Heavy Duty Tech Deck, the trailer harness was finally completed with some adhesive caulking, a ScanGauge II and some Hella Supertones were installed.

He also helped me get some things done as well:

I got to open my tent up for the first time and see how everything sets up:

    fde67563b9c369924185683343a4166c_dab63ed57371678b78ad625617a1c1c9756c5600.jpg

I installed my anti condensation mat from CVT:

The only problem I found with it was that being so heavy, when you fold the tent up, the mat slides down and comes out the bottom where the tent folds in half. I am not sure that the tent was design to hold the mat in place in anyway being a "generic" tent so 3 little screws hold it in place. Worked like a charm.

My d-rings arrived and were installed in about 2-3 minutes:

Lastly were the final touches on repairing the hole in the floor of the tent:

My brother will be taking the bed bars to the powder coater tomorrow. Hopefully by next weekend I can do a test install of everything!!

My brother is picking them up this morning! :D Can't wait! Mounts for the Rotopax came in last night and will be going in this weekend. Also, doing the pinch weld and likely removing the SB Sunday with Garsha91 and LoadedTaco!

Nah. Haha but it was a pretty good April Fool's joke

    :bananadead:

Last night I went out with my fiancé for dinner, came home and had cake at my house. Then we left to go to her house because her parents had presents for me to open. On the way there, she's following me in the behemoth and calls me to tell me that my tail lights are out unless I'm on the brakes. Great. I also notice that I have no dash lights, no accessories lights (especially the switches) but the radio, gauges and headlights work. Awesome.

Got to her house and pulled it apart to locate the fuse. Found which fuse it was. Located it in about 5 minutes and sure enough the fuse blew. Put a spare 10A in and blew that one. Put a 15 in and blew that one too.

Got home later that night and my brother was out helping me. Blew a 10 and 15 again and just called it quits for the night because I was exhausted.

This afternoon, my little brother went to go pick up some mini fuses from the auto store and said he blew a 15 and a 20A fuse. He said he just tried a 30A to test it and sure enough it held. Interior lights working and tail light are on without being on the brake. the whole time a 10A was in there working fine and then just went out randomly. The 30A should be enough

    to my little brother!

Got all the wiring fixed last night. The fuse is back to the correct size and a relay was installed.

Received my Rotopax 2 gallon water container last night:

    fe3009df0f99dfd0c9403a9865b36821_09b9b63d01a98717076722a927262dbf5ca8ae2c.jpg

Installed the 4 gallon this morning:

    0ec520ecf40d65793c8cdc77cdfbfe99_4155641780821fc87d7f230f8b1d8e73e2f1357e.jpg

My idea for the water container was to stand it straight up utilizing the tiny D-ring hooks I installed last weekend and a ratchet strap. But, it stood too tall and the bed cover wouldn't close. So for now, it is temporarily mounted like this:

Finally took care of the pinch weld today while helping my brother (GARSHA91) and Pete (LoadedTaco) installed a full OME kit on his 2015. Also rotated my tires!

The bed rail bolts they provide are junk. They are way too small for the bed rails on our trucks so you will have to get something bigger. Otherwise, very nice system and I am happy with the results.

What lights did you mount to the sides of the roof rack? And did you finish wiring them?

Hey dude! I haven't forgotten about you lol I will try to get it done this weekend if I can find some time..hopefully without unplugging anything  just don't wanna go into our trip next weekend without A-TRAC lol

They are Blitzpro 6LZ LEDs. I have to figure out the best and cleanest way to do the wiring for them as well.

    To both of you/others wondering:

Some "less important" mods have been put on the back burner for the time being. Work is insanely busy right now, the fiancé is heading out to Vegas late next week and will be gone for a week on business so I have been helping her prepare for that as best I can and the weekends, when she usually works, has been booked getting my brother ready for the trails; mostly the lift kit and skids were the major things he needed help with and also helping my fiancé's brother (new front diff and some other small things) who happens to be my wiring guy for major projects on the truck all while trying to find time to wrench on the Behemoth and do what I need to do to prep for the trip. Good majority of this weekend will be a wash and wax, removing the sway bar and doing a once over of the entire truck, fluid check, suspension check and re-torque as needed.

I just got the last of my switches for the 2nd panel a lot of these mods will be hooked up to so once they are installed and 'hot' I can take care of the rest actually running wire to the appropriate switches. I am doing the best I can guys

I'm thinking of running wires along the inside of the rails and getting some wire clips like the ones that hold wire looms to the frames to align the wires. Then run them through the slots on the rail to get them across the truck.

I'm having a hard time finding clips that I like. I would prefer not to have to drill holes in the rack and the 3M clips would likely give out over the winter.

    I like this design:

But I am worried that it could just pop off. Might have to use the ole zip tie method

    P.S. Nice sig quote btw!
