I would be curious to know how common this knowledge is amongst pro players. I could see the hand pass rule being relatively common knowledge, but beyond that...

 

I think in the post game interview after the penalty for being an Ineligible skater(pretty sure it was Suter who got penalized) he said he had no idea that was a rule until the refs explained it to him haha

 

gross misconduct was taken out of the NHL rule book almost 10 years ago.

I play drop-in twice a week. No refs - but we police ourselves decently. Full gear, and light hitting. Several of the players are ex-juniors - the odd ex-pro (lower level). I've never been familiar with these items you posted.

this happened in the Calgary vs Columbus game on March 21st. Cam Atkinson played the puck with one foot still in the penalty box and was called for interference. commentators didn't know why a penalty was called, they eventually got clarification from someone on why it was called interference.

from the NHL rule book (56.2):
A minor penalty shall be imposed on any identifiable player on the
players’ bench or penalty bench who, by means of his stick or his
body, interferes with the movements of the puck or any opponent on
the ice during the progress of the play. In addition, should a player
about to come onto the ice, play the puck while one or both skates are
still on the players’ or penalty bench, a minor penalty for interference
shall be assessed.
