So hypothetically speaking lets say someone has a ham radio... do any of you guy think that person may get a hard time by any authorities for using it out there with out a ham license. All hypothetical of course.

as long as the person doesn't try to transmit on any repeater channels, or god forbid any emergency channels, this hypothetical situation should be fine.

It's illegal, easy as that. If you want to run a ham radio spend the $5-$15 and get a license. If you don't want to then be willing to accept a fine if caught.

My and my crew usually camp at Smith Forks because of tons of space, tons of toilets and close proximity to the 4wd course. As for planned trails, since Miller is close for the season, I'd imagine they'll do Vics Cat Trail and some others. Not much else besides that.

hahahaha, HOW DID YOU GET YOUR HANDS ON MY PLAYLIST?!?! that was supposed to be secret! speaking of which, I need to figure out something for music in my 4runner for this trip. I only have a tape deck and CD player that I don't think plays MP3 CD's....
