I've been tempted to get one, but the Tundra is far behind in MPGs compared to it's competitors. I imagine one with a lift and 35's getting 12 MPGs or less.

    lolz.
If I'm not carrying the plow my 31 year old Dodge gets 16, and I've only got 3 speeds to work with :D :stirthepot:

Of course, WITH the plow I get 12. But that includes lots of back and forth driving, so who knows what I'm actually getting while I'm driving :notsure:

I don't pay attention to my mileage anymore. I have $60/week budgeted for gas. Whatever I don't spend, I throw towards my truck payment or whatever project I'm working on at the moment.

I just wish my truck would run well on something other than 93.

    I get about 15~16

I've been doing 93 since the day I bought it. A couple times a tried 87, but felt like I lost a little power at the lower RPMs.

I don't notice a power difference as much as pinging. I want the reflash, but it's tough finding a dealer that knows about it and wants to actually do it.

I don't know if I get better mileage or if mine really runs better but it definitely ticks a lot less with 93....

    You got new tires?

Mine runs fine with regular gas, just like the manual says.

My FJ says premium only. It runs fine on regular.... It's the same engine as my 4Runner...

The early 4.0l specd premium. They changed it in like 09 iirc. Wife's soccer mom mobile runs just fine on regular

No one here happens to own a Z32 (90-96) Nissan 300ZX, do they?

I'm half considering looking at one for sale in RI, but it's a private owner and I would love to check one out (maybe even putt around a quiet neighborhood) before I bother someone to see if I even actually like the car. I don't even want to look at it unless I'm certain I actually want one.

I don't know if I want to actually part with my Subaru, but the idea of T-Tops appeals and an honest to goodness two seat sports car could be fun.

My 05 was earlier than my 07... Cause that's how years work...

My 05 runner said regular and my 07 FJ says 93

Z32 turbo was a hot car! Had a huge fan base back in the 90s. How much?

They want almost 13. It's all original, all records, bone stock. The only way I'd even consider it is if it had never seen snow/salt and was 100% solid underneath.

Seems steep. But if it's the turbo model with low mileage and exceptionally clean, maybe. Friend of mine has an older 280z, all original burnt orange. Bought it new in TX when he was working down there. Those cars were tight and quick, light too. Fun ride.

It is. Black on black TT, about 60K, original mats, keys, etc. I dunno, it would depend on how clean it was underneath. I just would like to get some seat time in the car to see if I would actually like the car, rather than a 5 minute test drive.

I hear you. Having a summer ride is a lot of fun. If you can do it, at least check it out. Otherwise you'll keep asking yourself why you didn't later on. Don't ask how I know.
