Mine are off the secondary mount haha I want to redo them though. Want clevis mounts. And thicker straps. Probably TG ones.

Yea, im using the clevis' from my pelfrey kit since i never needed to strap the rear. Yea TG makes the bomb ones. I went with Kar tek since I thought the super thick strap might cause a problem near the tie rod... can always pick those up if the kartek straps work well and leave room for bigger straps

I just know the TG straps have very little stretch over time.

Hoping I won't have to strap my rear but if I do I'll definet get those too.

My current ones I can't even remember what brand they are...ha

Can you put the strap in the backside of the coilover so it's not in the way if the tie rid?

    Never mind..cv is there..ha

Good deal, I think just off the bolt should be good, seems like most run them like that. In researching, seems like a 10" was needed, once I get the bumps sorted out I'll let you know what I decide on. I have the TG clevis from Poly

    http://www.polyperformance.com/Trail-Gear-Limiting-Strap-Clevis-Kit

Ahha! I thought you were on just one 3/8" spacer from wheelers. So, you are 9/8" which is just under what I came up with. Sounds like I need 4 of the 3/8", then fine tune with the washers I have.

I thought I was loosing it, thanks!

Also, need a longer bolt, Ace had everything but the M10 1.25, oh well, ordered some from Fastenal.

So, I think a 9" is going to be ideal, 10" placed the clevis a bit higher on the frame than I liked.

Here is what I ordered from Fastenal for the lower mount, a few extra washers just in case.

SKU Qty Description Qty\Pkg Price Ext. Price

    11113290 2 M14-1.5 x 80mm DIN 960 Class 10.9 Plain Finish Hex Cap Screw 1 $ 7.5800 $ 15.16
    11508310 2 M14 x 1.5 Zinc Plated Class 10 Steel DIN 985 Nylon Insert Lock Nut 1 $ 0.7284 $ 1.46
    11103711 8 M14 DIN 125 Steel Yellow Zinc 200 HV Flat Washer 1 $ 0.5000 $ 4.00

Nice! Glad we both thought the same about the 10". Plus you have to consider the stretch. I planned for .75" based on the 1" for 12" of strap rule.

Looks good, 10nine is what i've got for my lower solid mount bolts going on this weekend. I've still have to visit my local fastenal for what you just ordered but it's likely they dont have what you got in stock for me...

I'm pumped to get all my front end stuff finished up, im sure you are too!

Also, just double checked my bump spacer situation. I have two wheelers 3/8" spacers under the DK steel spacer. For a total of 1.125" of spacer under the superbump. You may want to look at the wheelers spacers since they are wider and will prevent the super bump from squishing up around your washers, should help you run less spacer too since that squish is letting the bump compress further...

Yeah, the stretch sold me on 9" over 10, the clevis would be mounted dead center on the frame with 9", 10 put it a bit towards the top for my liking, not counting for stretch, so went for 9s, going to order them from Kartek tomorrow.

Again, Ace didn't quite have what I needed for the bolts, they had 8.8s in the M14-1.5, but since I wanted 10.9, and I had to order the bolts for the bumps anyway, just got them all from Fastenal.

Thanks for checking, I already bit the bullet and ordered 4 of the 3/8" from Wheelers, that squish was one thing I spent awhile thinking about as well, I can use the washers between the Wheelers spacer and the DK ones if needed. Excited to get this wrapped up and beat on it. I also did a full clearance check with the spring out, and everything is totally clear now!

Still using the cam adjustment on the lowers for alignment. That will change tomorrow :D Getting the lowers solid mounted and digging into the hiem alignment tomorrow. Currently the uppers are set at the adjustment equal to dirt kings bushing arms.

Didn't know I was doing a writeup? did I post I was and forgot or do you want one :luvya:

Gonna be pretty simple trial and error. Got some valuable info from Nick at DK who said 1/4 inch of threads is roughly equal to half a degree of caster adjustment. That should speed things up after the first round on the turntables.

I do not have that skill. where and how much were the tables? Would love to learn it myself.

Forgive me for assuming. Thought you were or did do a write up. I would appreciate one to further my skill sets and self reliability with the maintenance on the truck.

Should both sides have the same distance of him adjustments from what you were told?

Set a web cam/ laptop up and do a google hangouts for all of us interested. ;) I'd tune in for the show. Beats the cherry blossom fest in DC the wife wants me to go to.
