Cool looks like Patterson works for everyone. We'll meet at 5AM at the 76 gas station right off the 5. There's also a Starbucks right there that will be open at that time.

Question for those that went last year: Would my FZJ80 with front+rear lockers, front bumper, skid plate, sliders and 295/75/16 be enough? I really want a lift as well but don't think I can swing it in time. I may run a 1.5 spacer up front and 30mm in the rear just to level the rig out. Really, really want to go, lol. Promised the wife this year I was going to dial back the toys but it's MOAB!!!!

I've never been but from what I've seen and heard you will be fine, those rigs are extremely capable stock.

Alvin (& any South Bay folks) - instead of backtracking to meet us in Patterson, plan to be in the Los Banos area where the 152 meets the 5 around like 5:45AM, then just hopping in on our caravan as we pass through.

Sounds like a nice trip, guys.

Beer notes: all Utah beers have lower alcohol, but there are some good ones:

Squatters's Full Suspension pale ale. Straight up classic pale.

Yeah I'm trying to make it work somehow. I originally was not going to go, didn't think I had enough time/$$$ but the more I think about, the more I want to go. If I can sell some parts off my other money pit, I may even be able to get me a lift in time. I will have a definite answer by the end of the month.

Since We'll be hiking the first day at Zion, I was thinking it'd be a good idea to do the scenic drive at Bryce on the 2nd day. The drive is 36 miles (18 each way), and offers 13 viewpoints along the way with the famous Rainbow Point and Yovimpa Point at the end - it'll be perfect for you photographers (or IG whores). It'll take up about 3 hours, but that can be the main thing we do there and we can do other stuff too.

    You guys down?
