    Agreed. While it is nice to travel in a group, once you get past 6, passing another group can be a pita, and the larger it is, the slower is goes.

    It was a good plan last time to have the groups meet up for lunch, and late in the day.

    Usually the two biggest factors are trail rating and speed. Not everyone has armor and lifts, and some people like to race around.

    Any idea how the trails deteriorated over winter?
