Thanks! The lift is 5100's all around, front's set at 0 with OME 884 coils, and front lean spacer, rear has Toytec 1.5" AAL. Also installed 1.25" Spidertrax wheel spacers.

Tires are 265/70/17 General Grabber AT2's.

    I could not be happier.

For that amount of lift, OME 883's and Nitrochargers are what Real Men™ use. I have a double-cab and it gave me about 1.25".

    Bilsteins work too I suppose....

I did almost the same thing. Only difference is I went with OME 884s in the front instead of Eibachs so I have slightly less rake:

I'm at about 2" and I'm amazed at how "off" the alignment is every time I take it in. I've definitely gotten my money's worth from the alignment package at NTB.

I don't recall the numbers, but they always get it extremely close.

I read this as a bit sarcastic; however, I (somewhat) agree with what he is saying. I would probably go all OME (or Ironman for that matter) over billies preloaded or billies with either eibach or OME coils. I believe the diameter of the shock is wider than stock or billies, but someone please correct me if i'm wrong. As a result, they should take a little more abuse before failure.

outside diameter is not always indicative of strength.
you could go bigger around but thinner walls, different materials, etc

not saying that IS the case here....

so new to lifting trucks and just bought my first 2015 tacoma TRD OR. Am I understanding correctly that my truck came with adjustable blistiens? it did come with 5100's right? Find it amazing if a dealer actually released something that could be adjusted.

If they are adjustable can I just adjust them to even the front out with the back? I am looking at just leveling the lift, not raising the rear higher. I think I have put together the info I need from this thread but can someone tell be the best, most reliable, way to just even out the front and back without sacrificing comfort or anything else?

EDIT: reading further it seems "OME-T886 coils for 200+ lbs front weight from aftermarket bumper or winch" may be all i need, so next question is if I plan on getting a winch in a year or so should I go ahead with 886's or get 885's until i decide to get the winch?

I mean its not horrendous, but definitely noticeable. The "floating" feeling you get more at highway speeds and the tendency for the truck to jump when you hit a bump. Nothing I can't live with, just noticeable

I think I just need to find the right shop. The shop I used I trust, but they don't often work on vehicles that have been modified and they were adamant about where they got the numbers. I don't recall what they are off the top of my head, but they were NOT camber = 0, toe = 0. I do know my caster came out to 1.8 on both sides and I know that's not optimal, leading to the floating feeling.

I need to find a shop that will take the numbers I give them, but I haven't found one in Northern Virginia that will do that. I have a recommended shop from a forum member here, but they are only open weekdays. The time I have is on the weekends.

That's why I italicized the "should."

Unless something has changed, the Bilstein shocks that come stock are not adjustable; nor do you want to change the coils on the stock shocks. The coil and shock should be matched so that you don't over extend or bottom out the shock.

Save up and do it right the first time. In your case, it sounds like bumper/winch along with 886x coils and either 5100s or (preferably) Nitrocharger shocks.

The TRD OEM shocks are closer to Bilstein 4600s, but are apparently not the same as they are built to Toyota's specs.

Looks great! Pushing the wheels out really gives these trucks a better look.
