Finally got my new tires. ST MAXX 265/75/16. So far I love them except the slight mpg drop but I guess it goes without saying, pay to play.

My main set up. During the nice weather months, i tend to have my kayak in my truck more times than not. I attempted to go out today but everywhere i checked there was still too much ice. oh well

My first "test" of my new tires. Drove an hour away to brookfield auto trail. too much snow for me to attempt a solo trip, so i drove all the back roads home. they handled well

Decided to test my luck running down a snowmobile trail today in Tupper. took me a couple hours and i only got stuck once on a stream crossing because of the snow. the coopers grab and i love them.

Cool thread. I love Spruce Mica, that would have been my second choice. Great choice on the tires, I love mine.

Wow. I thought that was me sitting in the back of that truck. Welcome to TW  Looks like you weren't bluffing when you said you put more in your truck that most of us. Keep us posted with your adventures!! I may be more inspired to head up to the lake.

This past weekend a few of my friends decided to try something different. i heard of this place, charles e. baker state park at work from a guy who heard about it from a friend. i was curious a few months ago so i drove up and checked it out. too much snow at the time but i knew it was gonna happen once the snow melted. the convoy included my tacoma, a 2007 4runner and an 08 rubicon. drivin by my sisters boyfriend and my brother. we left home at 9am. took an hour to get there. once we arrived at the assembly area and took care of bathroom breaks, we let the air out of our tires and set forth. apparently the place has 160 something miles of trail, mostly horse trails... but none the less, we had a blast. we drove for 6 hours all over the place. even took a couple of logging roads.. thats when it got fun. couple tight spots on the trails but we managed to make it through the day without any problems. i recommend checking this place out if you're close to bridgewater, NY. it makes for a good day..... pictures from the trip will follow
