What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Took my tube bumper off and had to heavily modify their first gen taco AP Apex bumper to fit my runner!

I did a lot to it today... But nothing really picture worthy. Just bought this truck with 180k on it. Solid frame and body... but wasnt happy with how it was running. After this it feels like a different rig! Accelerates smoother, idles so smooth and quite. Not to mention a smoother ride. Even my lady noticed what a difference all this made.

1. pads and rotors (had warped rotors)
2. oil change
3. cleaned MAF
4. cleaned throttle body
5. Sea foam 1/2 can through break boost/ 1/2 in gas tank
6. changed air filter
7. changed PCV valve
8. Both rear shocks

Ran out of time. But next Saturday I'll do plugs and wires, new battery, new muffler, and a wash/wax.

 

Hot water floweth from my shower system. Unfortunately the shower head leaks like a mofo. Looks like it may be missing a seal. But other than that

Overall not a good day though, chipped a tooth and destroyed the bottom panel of my garage door with the taco... Oops.

anybody have a pic of a double cab with the headliner removed? i'm curious where the cross bars are. i've been thinking of designing a roof rack with hard points rather than the window hooks.

Never mind! For some reason I had it in my head it was next weekend, I for sure should have time to fit them. Would love to swap in new bearings so I can install the e locker but that won't happen.
