Looking forward to learning stuff from all y'all

My first truck, i have always wanted a Tacoma and a few weeks ago said eff it, i have 4 car payments, may as well have one of them for a vehicle that I want and not just the kids!

Totally digging it and cant wait to get advice (apologies in advance if i ask questions like a tard when i should use search feature)

all i have done is put window tint on, a Bakflip, and today replacing my stock TRD Off Road 16" rims with new rims (same size so i am keeping BF tires)

    cheers

Welcome. I'm pretty new as well. My advice: when you start to think about the inevitable lift, read all of the threads you can find, THEN ask questions. You will be amazed by how much you will learn.

WARNING: this forum will put the hurt on your bank account like little else.

    thanks!

and haha regarding "lift"...already researching this morning and all its doing to me right now is making me feel dumber than I am, but i will keep reading to educate myself

as for the bank account, i expect that. however, the ex-wife (aka, the "b" or "c" word depending on the day) puts the biggest hurt on my account so at least this $ will be for something enjoyable

    thanks again!

Welcome! I actually spent a lot of time looking around here before I pulled the trigger on the truck and all the extras. Definitely do your research. Look at what your intentions are for your truck long term and go from there. Keep in mind that the most expensive option might not be the best for your application. Why get a full long-travel set up if your truck is just your daily driver and only sees dirt occasionally? Also, if you actually plan on doing some real wheeling, stay away from spacers- you'll end up replacing them anyway and might actually damage something else in the meantime. Search and research before you ask questions. Being new myself, I found that most questions I had were already addressed in here somewhere. That being said- don't be afraid to ask. There are super helpful people here that are all willing to help. I've met some really cool people thought this forum and couldn't be more grateful.
    Cheers!

thanks for the advice. if i do raise it even a little, i will pay the extra to not use spacers etc

todays obsession is a truck tent. i have a bakflip so i need to search (no luck so far) if the bakflip works just fine when folded up against the cab while the tent is on
