It's certainly an ugly game. My dad went to Nebraska in the 70's... he actually saw 2 NC's while he was there. I pull for Nebraska when they're not playing Bama.

Doesn't look like much of a blue-out. Maybe the Ole Piss fans were all too drunk to realize their clown of a coach was trying to get a gimmick together. It doesn't matter, though... they've moved the ball fewer than 20 yards at the half.

This team NEVER should have been ranked #4 in the nation.

There's a reason why the favorite saying in Oxford is, "We may not have won the game, but we've never lost a party."

You should be. Nobody expected AU to be 5-1 through 6. At least you should go to a bowl game that's not the Iron Bowl this year.

And that's the game... 22-3. First game under 30, and we couldn't do much of anything in the Red Zone, but a win is a win, and the 'dream season' is officially over for the Rebs. They're back where they belong... floundering around in the bottom half of the SEC West, hoping to end up above MSU.

But their fans didn't lose the party, I'm sure.

But, if Bama wanted to play dress up in the stands, you'd be all for it?

and, btw...that wasnt the first time UGA done the "blackout" and before it actually worked. Against Auburn and in the sugar bowl against Hawaii.

Its just a way to have fun with it, dont be such a tight ass.

I wouldn't go to the game, and I sure as hell wouldn't be for it. You'd see me on here talking about how f'ing stupid it was, and hoping that it didn't distract our players enough to change even one play of the game.

Besides, our uniforms are pretty standard. Crimson over white pants at home / All white on the road... unless we're playing La. State on a day they decide they want to wear their whites at home. (I've never understood that exception. Maybe they should have used it last night.)

I hope you don't honestly believe that the black-out had anything to do with either the AU win or the Hawai'i win. The players on the field won. It doesn't matter what color their jerseys were, and it doesn't matter what color shirt bo-bob and betty-sue in the stands wore. To think otherwise is nonsense.

I think Bama should have been ranked #1 after this weekend. Florida's win over LSU was not that convincing to me at least. But seeing as TeBLOW is the Greatest QB to grace college football and is infallible I have a feeling that Florida is going to be ranked #1 for quite awhile.

^I'd say I agree, but we didn't ONCE score a TD in the red zone. Our only TD came on a 4th and 1 from the 35(ish) that broke. The Ole Piss defense really stepped up when we came knockin'. I wanted us to go for it on 4th and goal a couple of times, but I don't coach the team.

If we'd punched it in on one or two of the trips (instead of kicking 5 field goals), I'd think we deserved to be on top of FL.

I'm not overly concerned w/ the #1 spot at this point anyway. If we keep winning, we'll get it, b/c we'll have to play FL at some point. If we don't win, we don't deserve it.

Funny to me, though, that Texas scores 5 touchdowns and blows Colorado out 38-14, while we score just one TD and 5 field goals, and we STILL play a little leap frog.
