I hear ya there, that crap gets on everything! Just throw a rag over the hub when you need to do the brakes, it helps a little at least. Either way, I usually end up a mess after doing brakes anyways so I'll take a little extra grime every 50k miles vs. having to beat and kick my wheels off every 5k miles.
I would say the Tacoma is ready for new leaf packs the second it rolls off the lot

The Toytec's are made by Deaver here in the USA, it's funny because I had the same ones and broke one of mine in the same place too. Then I redid mine using some Chevy springs that I got from David and I have broken one of those and David has some broken too. For all the hate on the Toyota springs there is on this site I think it's funny how all the US springs are the ones breaking around here. So now I have a set of 1st gen Tundra springs that I am going to do the mod with. :D

You've had that thing for what, a month? Give it time; something will break/rust/fall off.

I believe April 28th is last day of sign ups. Cost is $26, it includes lunch. Skeet/trap? No. You get to shoot at a car. People are quite generous with their stuff, especially the NFA guys.

Surprised to see that! I figured you'd want the bigger SUV, easier to get the carseat and baby in and out of. Do you have your eye on a particular FJ or still looking?

I don't blame her, having 2 of the same type of vehicles in the driveway??? Same reason I would stick with a pickup though (much more handy). Just my 2c's

I hear ya there, no way I could get rid of the pickup. I was considering an SUV when I bought the Ferd but my wife wouldn't let me get one. She said I'd destroy the interior of an SUV because I'd treat it like a pickup bed. She's absolutely correct.
