    there is the big cave that you can hike into with an upper alcove and old troughs and more alcoves in the same area...there's also the cave a bit further down that is slightly hidden...there's some old mining relics later in the trail as well

    for anyone interest, i'm thinking a night run on fins most likely wednesday night and exploring hey joe canyon and hell roaring canyon thursday....

    fins will cap out at 15 and thursday capping at 10 rigs

    Hey Joe Canyon is impassable. Seriously. The branches are so thick and overgrown they will scratch you on a dirt bike. Additionally there are several washouts that we high centered my friends 2 door jk on and broke off his steel tire carrier. It got so bad that we had to walk in. The mine was pretty cool but it reaked of methane gas and we didn't want to get uranium poisoning like my buddy's brother did the year before so we kinda high tailed it out of there.

    good to know...looking to hit up areas that are in danger of being shut down...and that was one i haven't been to you..

    maybe we'll just do hell roaring canyon rim, then shoot down to mineral bottom and see the canyon below...there's some ruins and old cowboy carvings down there...

    or give ten mile wash a shot...
