Did he break and need recovery or get scared.....if scared then he should let gravity help get the truck down there isn't 1 thing in that hill that would cause issues....maybe if he was pre running it and turn hard right and possibly shot off the edge....

It was alt worse in person than what it looks like in the pictures. He was also a 2wd that's stock. Also getting down wasn't the main issue it was getting back up. At the time we didn't know there was another trail that lead out of that valley. Took us a good hour or two to find another way out but there was no way that truck was coming back up that hill.

    nothing special.... wanna race?
He got stuck there are several post on it and unless you go there I suggest you don't comment on that incline because its bad especially with a 2wd. Theres no way he could go back up it even if he got free by himself. He did'nt know the trail either so help was needed and yes he should probly not have gone down it in the first place but it takes alot of guts to ask for help and to even attempt it in the first place in a stock truck...

He had a locker and he was going down.....i definently stand by my comment.....
I agree that newbies can bite off more than they THINK they can chew but if pushed will realize there's always a way....and that they were nowhere near any real issues...

2wd or not those tires at 5 to 8 psi and rear locker on stay high avoid ruts and keep a small amount of momentum going up....
Nothing wrong with asking for help or being a newbie....
