I am hoping to aleast make a couple trips this summer.

 

Bought a pressure washer after my first trip to Rausch, and just rinse it off, the mud hides in every nook it can find.

I just pity the dumbass that tailgates on the first rainy day after a trip.

And yes, it is highly addictive.

 

I haven't touched my truck yet

We are getting rain tomorrow so I parked it in the street

That's a great example of one draw back of having a snorkel. Unless you use a Donaldson style prefilter, you could easily get water into the snorkel by bombing through puddles.

 

Ha I wasn't even bombing sadly. I was trying to get unstuck from the massive puddles by the usual lunch spot near 23 and just kicked it all up everywhere. But I agree that a snorkel is not going to gaurentee you safety in all situations. Do you regret yours josh?

 

I was blasting through some mud about a month ago and has a ton of mud and water in my box. There wasn't a spot of white left on my filter. I'm pretty sure if the snorkel was on, there would have been very little and you can always turn the head around if you are worried about it.

 

Pulled into work early today and saw a taco with mesh grille, snorkel and more. Anyone here work in the Bishops Gate office complex?

 

Keeping the dirt out of the box is a must,but turning the head around that is a real trick.

 

All you have to do is rotate the snorkel inlet backwards.
