Hi Peewee, where abouts in snq pass did you find to shoot? So many no shooting signs(with bullet holes in them) up there. Yesterday I saw three young guys shooting at the top of a forest road, in a trail head parking lot, right next to a no shooting sign. lol

No kidding, I used to live in Everett, there's quite a few spots up in Darrington. Snoqualmie is tough though. I don't know of any either that keeps everyone happy.

I'm unsure if it's permitted but there's a handfull of spots off NF-5700 in North Bend. I've explored a good 20 or so miles out there. But just like everywhere else, gates block almost everything off the main road.

I've not seen any "no shooting signs", that doesn't mean they're not there, or been shot into so many pieces that one can't see them anymore. Anyway, we'll usually go off onto one of these little tails off a NFS road, announce our presence by yelling that we are going to commence shooting in a (compass direction) and then start peppering away at some dead hard drives/laptop computers, etc. then we pick up everything we can once we leave.

HEAVY SNOW IS EXPECTED OVER THE MOUNTAINS TONIGHT, SO YAY! SOME SNOW DRIVING MIGHT BE IN ORDER ON THURSDAY DURING THE DAY TRIP, IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN GOING, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! WE'LL GO UP TO SNOQUALMIE PASS AND FIND SOME NFS ROADS TO DRIVE ON. MAYBE GO FIND NFS-5480 AND DO THE LOOP IF THE ROADS ARE OPEN AND PASSABLE. PERHAPS STOP OFF AT LOST LAKE... WHO KNOWS...

There is no legal shooting in the I-90 corridor all the way to the pass. While there may be no signs, they are agressivly patroling for target shooters. Its not worth the risk. You need to go out pass the pass or join the snoqualmie vally rifle club if you want a legal outdoor shooting area.

Hey so ill be most likely trading up to a DCLB in about a year(after the wife gets her Jeep). Over all is there a best year of the DCLB? Also, will everything i do to my truck now be able to just remove and replace on the new one? I feel like it should, other than weld on sliders of course.
Also any one here have kids? Is the back roomy enough for kids?

Ill take your sliders off your hands if you want before you sell it! Pretty easy to take on and weld on mine I think. But yes suspension wise it will all transfer over. If I were you I would wait to put any new suspension on until you get the new one (if you still are planning on going with a setup like mine).

Id probably go with anything after 08, not that there is any problems with prior to that year but I know 09+ has a better lsd

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Seat covers aren't interchangeable between access and DC. Weather techs fit, but aren't flush like they should be when you change. Window visors aren't changeable. Front window is different.

Oh i didnt know the sliders were that easy to get off. Wouldnt they be a little short since mine is an access cab right now? Yeah im definitely still looking at going with a set up like yours, why do you think i should wait until i get the new one?

Access cabs and DCSB's have the same length sliders i've been told (cough cough Dakota), I think because yours goes as far back before the wheel well (little past the rear door) and they would fit just to the end of my rear door right which is right before the wheel well. If that makes sense.

I would wait because its just one less time you have to do suspension work, it isn't that long before you get the new one. But up to you

Haha awesome! I leave end of August for California and my truck won't be back here until the next May so probably when I get back unless you want to take them off early?

Back seats aren't bad, I mean im 6'2 and would need the person up front to move the seat a bit far forward to be comfortable, but for kids it would probably be perfect. I mean they are made for short Japanese people soo... haha

Transferring to Cal Maritime in Vallejo! The campus is really nice, right on the water but the city is sketchy (gangs and tons of hookers) and is making me think twice about taking my truck but I should be able to park on campus and we have our own police force so its well patrolled. Going to be doing maritime intelligence once I graduate. The school year is really short for some reason, we start early september and get out towards the end of April, whole month shorter than where im at now, UW.

    Alright thanks man!

Nice dude that sounds pretty cool! Fuck that haha I'd definitely keep the truck on campus if you can. Yeah that does sound pretty short for a normal school year. But its a longer summer(even though summer is year long in CA) should be cool. Doing any wheeling out there?
