yup. just trying to figure out which combination.

replace the vibrant resonator, or replace the Aero 3030xl.

problem is, since I had them extend the Y out past the T case, I have limited room in the 3" piping.

thats all i can really do..

im leaning towards replacing the vibrant first.. see how it sounds.. then go from there. i can always add another muffler, maybe even another borla, in place of the aero.

Burns Stainless has very good sounding mufflers as well. Initially expensive, but the positive side is that they a re-packable, unlike every other packed muffler which is one and done. Except for Aeroturbine, which has no packing.

    Again, not cheap. www.burnsstainless.com

I think this is my biggest issue.. which is why im on the fence about which one to replace with the Borla..

    the vibrant, or the aero.

Chunk the vibrant. Cheap, and pretty much Chinese. Unless something has changed. Nice Chinese, but still.

Gonna start with replacing the Vibrant.. after taking measurements and seeing if the Borla will fit that is. Then go from there.. possibly another Borla in place of the Aero.

Also sent an email to IPT explaining the whole situation. Waiting for a reply.

ok, so got a reply from John at IPT. he essentially said the valve body should have no affect on the torque converter, the rest of the modifications definitely will.. which.. I knew that... i just didn't think I would run into worn parts this quickly, plus the fact i haven't heard about anyone else having issues.

    so.. new/better torque converter?

If there is an upgrade to your torque converter, it will be worth it. Just don't raise the stall limit.

That's what I'm thinking too. Just don't know where to start looking for one. And good to know, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks Tor.
