They are awesome, you can barely notice they are there. You can also position your beams to be in front of you or to the side.

Yeah neither have I, surprisingly

Battery, Driver, Gas tank.. all on the same side. 3/4 drop is normal on old shocks.

Yeah , they just miss the windshield wiper as it comes up and you cant notice it to much from the inside
I made them . They wanted 45 bucks a piece for them so I said screw that and I bought some flat iron and made them myself , Turned out really well . Cost me 5.00 for the iron at home depot and my labor grinding and bending and shaping.

Man I've been gone awhile! Schools got me all messed up. Haven't had time to do anything. Going to be spending some maintenance funds this weekend, doing a refresh on the steering and driveline, lbj's, tie rods, carrier bearing, and clean/ possibly rebuild my calipers. Anyone recommend a place to get any/ all of this stuff for a good price?

Can't you just weld a piece of scrap steel on a cb antenna tab for the hood? Just get a couple of them and weld a piece of flat steel with a hole drilled for mounting the light pod.
