Hey Guys! New to the Tacoma World Forum. Created an account a long time ago so I can check out all of your trucks! Now I finally can make my own posts!

I was a little nervous getting the 4 cylinder but I can say all the other posts I've seen prove that its going to be a great truck.

Picking up some wheels and a leveling kit soon!

I came from a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder that required 91 octane and got 14.9 MPG - I think I wont be too shocked.

    What load rating?

For reference, stock suspension and stock Dunlop 245/75/16s I was seeing 22-24 average and up to 28 hwy. With lift and 265/75/16 ATs (in P metric!) I'm down to 17-18 average, consistently. My tires only weigh 39 lbs, stock alloy wheels. I'd think you'll see MPGs similar to the Pathfinder. I keep the highway RPMs at or below 2000 and try to shift (auto) below 2000 or 2500 RPM with occasionally exception over 3000 RPM.

Will look great with those wheels and tires.. looking forward to pics and the build.

    Congrats and welcome.

What? I thought the 4 cylinder double cab was only a 5 lug 2WD option. Didn't know they had it in Prerunnder double cabs.

    Lol. Forget what I drive?

Bit of a rare truck. There were less than 100 registered in California in 2013 when I bought mine new.

Wow, that says a lot for a place as populated in Cali. Tacomas must be all over the place there.

They're everywhere. Just not in this configuration. Most of the 80 something sold here in 2013 were fleet vehicles.

The tires alone are over 50lbs according to the BFG site. I'm sure they're going to impact MPG. I hope not worse than the Pathfinder I had. But it's not that big of a deal to me.

I'm the wrong person to ask. It was slow with the stock wheels. It's slow with the new ones. I could care less. Power isn't something I need with this truck. I love the way it looks though.
