Started a few weeks ago, i was reversing and i heard this annoying squeak. :( Looked on the fourm and figured it was my u-joints. Got under the truck, and it didn't have any play, couldn't move it all. Then i went a week with not hearing it, now im hearing it in drive, up to about 25-30 MPH. Should i just grease it up? Or have someone replace the u joints? Im also not getting any vibration what so ever, like some people are when there u-joints are bad.

    Thanks guys!

If they're greasable, grease them one at a time, confirm that all 4 caps purge grease, and if they do, drive it to see if the squeak goes away. When you can confirm the squeak is gone, replace at least that u-joint. And keep them all greased more regularly, the only cause of a squeaking u-joint is lack of lube.

I had the same problem at 80,000 miles on my 2010 dcsb sport. just take the drive shaft out and either change the three u joints yourself with a vise and bfh or take it to a auto machine shop and have them press them in for you......it an easy job also take a look at the carrier busing while you at it...

Just did mine last night. Had 1 u joint cap with disintegrated needle bearings. I grease pretty regularly so it happened over the last couple months. Just be sure to take note of the drive shaft orientation and make sure it goes back together the same way.
