Sounds good bro, would love to go to the range or somethin someday. Hopeing I'll make it to slick rock. Think I should be worried about my steering rack if I do go? Has a small leak on passenger side shaft, I think it's been that way for a year or two now Haha..

if its concealed, and you have a CCW, shouldn't it be on your person? Maybe Greg can chime in?

    ...too much shit to list.

No. In CA if you have a ccw, vehicle transport laws are superseded by your ccw. You can conceal it in the vehicle or on your person. Loaded and all, no restrictions (as long as the firearm is registered in your name).

In Nevada, a vehicle is considered an extension of your home. As long as the firearm is not concealed on your person, anybody who can legally own firearms can conceal in their vehicle. This applies to out of state residents as well.

seriously, people are fuckin wack. they had protesters blocking the bay bridge today. I would have ran them over

dude, it looked EXACTLY like that

I have had 3 people sideswipe me on my bike, including run my leg over and splinter the bones in my foot. which is why i rarely ride to work anymore

Jesus! Glad you're still alive! One thing I learned riding in Southern California, that an old Navy officer told me, but I didn't believe until I rode for the first time, is this...."You have to be the most aggressive person on the rode when riding. Their is no 'defensive driving' in a motorcycle, people can and will try to hit you, sometimes on purpose and sometime on accident, but rest assured, you will go down either way". After almost being sideswept or had randoms just change lanes violently with no blinker several feet in front of me (fuckin' happened again today on my way home) I've just learned to expect EVERY single car on the road is about to hit me. So I ride fast when I've got the room and can get around them, or I ride slow and with PLENTY of room to move if I need to. And tailgater's to bikes can eat a giant back of dicks. I've been thinking about reverting back to my younger days and carrying pennies in my jacket pocket for when they don't get the hint. /rant over lol

Can a NV resident conceal a handgun in their vehicle while in CA (for the reasons you've stated) ?

^ Doubtful But I'm guessing a Californian can conceal a handgun in Nevada.

    That's what I was thinking.

Hopefully something happens out of the Peruta/Nichols cases... I would never be able to get a CCW where I live now.

Harsh truth. I rode like an absolute asshole. Still didn't stop two guys in a stolen car that ran a red light and t-boned me though. Ankle bone sticking out through the skin. Still got the screw in my ankle today.

No. California sucks. But the other way around is fine.

My friend used to get really annoyed with me when he sat passenger and I wouldn't cut people off. He's a rider and said he's really uncomfortable when so many other cars are around him. Some kind of rider claustrophobia? Idk. But he's quickly losing interest in riding motorcycles after being knocked off his bike many many times.

I sure hope so... dammed near impossible in Sonoma County

I used to commute every day on a bike from sonoma county to marin. After the 3rd time being hit i only do it every once in a while. The last time a wrk truck sideswiped me and ran its dually wheels into my leg, ripping it off the rearsets and running my leg over. I kept the bike vertical but have permanent nerve damage in my right foot and splintered my bones in my feet. Hurts even a couple years later, at completely random times. Even in my car I try to leave open defensible pockets in traffic.

    Drive down? Yes.
During mod day? No, I had 2 beers so I locked it up in the truck until I drove home hours later, giving myself ample time to burn the alcohol off. Drinking and carrying is the quickest way to a jail cell. No thank you! Haha

Yea this weekend we have drill for the NG. I don't carry when in uniform, as its a big no no. The center console is only used when I'm in the truck. Gets the gun off my hip for comfort, it's still concealed and legal. I have a Smittybilt Steel Lock Box *hidden* in the truck that I lock the firearm up for longer periods of time.

    This.

I know the feeling, I grew up in San Ramon. My parents still live there and my dad hates how hard it is to get one.

^^^mill huh? I have a poly 80% lying around that needs finishing if you're into that stuff.

Now that I almost have the pickup trail ready I should have some cash freeing up so I think I'm gonna pick up a 1911 in the next couple months. What do you guys think about the Springfield Loaded 1911s?
