    What's the point of this?

Not hating.. Genuinely curious. I've seen it on some really heavy duty and race trucks and never really understood it

pretty much the coil over takes the weight of the shock and the other shock does all the work.

The same shit everyone else has.
Got the driver side of the truck cleaned up and waxed after work today. It took forever to get all the bugs/tar/shit off the bottoms of the doors.

Tomorrow, I gotta hit the tailgate, front/rear bumpers, and hood with bug/tar remover and wax them, then hit everything with one more good coat of wax and seal the paint with some Optiseal.

Ya I need to get a life. I put a beer opener in back.

Maybe I just broke a law by putting a John Deere beer opener on a Toyota.

Better damping capabilities so you can run harder offroad, if valved correctly the ride gets A lot smoother even on the road (which in my case it dramatically improved the overall on road feel and handling).

It also alleviates a lot of the stress the coil bucket and frame sees upon hard compression of the coilover or shock when it is compressing hard, this is especially important if you are planning on staying MT because you don't want to bend your frame or damage your radiator core support (because it ultimately ties to the front of the frame).

Furthermore it allows additional cooling for the shocks while running for extended periods of time out there before fade can begin to occur.

The only reason I performed this mod was because I had these originally as broken 10" shocks for the rear and I had totally brand new ones shipped to me by Fox for free. This was a cheap enough mod so I figured why not improve my overall capabilites by upgrading the front yet again to these spares I had lying around.

Did you use any close after plasti dip? I would like to do this to rear bumper too.

Does it look dull or glossy?

can you post close ups on your rear bumper too?

also, how many cans and coats did you use?

i used the plasti dip glossifier after. 2 cans of white was about 5 coats then 2 coats of glossifier. Its shinier than plastidip by itself but its not glossy like paint. kinda in the middle. this is the best I have for close ups right now

Just cheap Amazon led pods. I'll switch them out, as they are a bit big, but I put quick disconnects on the wires so swapping them out shouldn't be tough later on. These are just to give me an idea on output and angles.

On the taco I have Icon stage 1 with Dakars rear. Had 285 before but hated rubbing I didnt want to chop away things. Lift at 2.5 and thinking 1.75 5100's or 6112 for the 4Runner when it arrives
