Not sure if its been mention, but have they finally integrated a bed light to the third brake light?

Yeah I noticed that, but I was talking about other parts of the door. Looks like uptick might be slightly different. I think they could have easily done more with the skins to make it match the from and rear but guess they did not want to. Maybe for cost.

Those 45 degree downward grooves they added at the front doors adds a bit more cohesion to the new sheet metal (similar groove by rear bumper)... more so with the long bed, adding more flow between cab and bed sheet metal with the horizontal groove and yet another 45 groove in front of wheel well.

I dont either. It's pretty handy.

But on the flip side, more technology means more things to potentially break. And eventually, too much technology is going to make it really hard to modify things.

This article (which is basically a press release) says:

"The new Tacoma’s wheel flares are strong and muscular for greater wheel travel and the high-lift image reflects its capability."

So I guess some of the body changes may actually have a purpose.

It is handy I had it on my previous car.
But it's a truck I like the turn key to start lol.
Plus 400 dollars a key isn't cheap and yes it is just one more thing to go wrong

I zoomed in on that third brake light, and it does look like they got it integrated. I don't know, I might be wrong.

I don't know. Maybe it's because my New 2015 is new and I just purchased it but.... I like the look of my 2015 better than the 2016. Same for the interior as well.

From that same article: “The all-new homegrown Tacoma is a tough truck designed, developed and built for lifestyles of the young and young-at-heart.”

It's the exact opposite in my area. All the younger people are driving lifted Chevy's or they're rolling coal. You hardly ever see anyone under 60 in a Tacoma.

I think all the young people are trying to live their lives like a country song, and the older folks are the only ones who have pulled their heads out of their asses.
